How to create a Nintendo Account

In order to activate your game on Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2, you need a Nintendo Account and access to the Nintendo eShop.

You can create a Nintendo Account here: https://accounts.nintendo.com

You can use the same account on your console and on the Nintendo website.

Guide to activate your game on Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2

Activate directly on your Nintendo console

1. Turn on your Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2.

2. Make sure your console is connected to the internet.

3. From the HOME Menu, select Nintendo eShop.

4. Choose the Nintendo Account you want to use and log in.

5. In the Nintendo eShop menu, select “Redeem Code” (usually found on the left-hand menu).

6. Enter your 16-character activation code exactly as provided.

7. Confirm by selecting Redeem.

Done!
Your game will be added to your account and will start downloading automatically. You can also download it later from the HOME Menu.
